Michelle Peluso is Executive Vice President and Chief Customer and Experience Officer for CVS Health®. She leads the Company’s approach in defining unparalleled patient and consumer experiences to improve the health and wellbeing of the over 100M people CVS Health serves. Michelle also focuses on enhancing every consumer interaction within the Company’s service centers, leveraging cutting-edge technology to drive efficiency and deliver exceptional service and satisfaction. Additionally, Michelle leads the company’s brand and marketing efforts, strengthening CVS Health’s connection with consumers across America.

Previously, Michelle served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Customer Officer, CVS Health, and co-President, Pharmacy and Consumer Wellness. She was responsible for orchestrating the enterprise consumer experience, leading the front store business, bringing innovation into everyday health and wellness, and connecting retail consumers to the broader health assets of CVS Health.

Michelle has spent her career building and transforming world-class companies with digital and the consumer at the center. Before joining CVS Health in 2021, she served
as senior vice president, digital sales, and chief marketing officer for IBM, where she oversaw global marketing, digital sales, and the commercial business. Prior to IBM, Michelle was CEO of Gilt from 2013 until its sale to Hudson’s Bay Company in 2016. In her role at Gilt, she oversaw the expansion of the business and its drive to profitability.

From 2009 to 2013, Michelle served as chief consumer marketing and internet officer for Citigroup, responsible for the bank’s award-winning digital transformation, global consumer marketing and customer experience. She also served from 2002 to 2009 as CEO of Travelocity, pioneering online travel and driving significant scale worldwide. She joined Travelocity following its acquisition of Site59, a travel site she created and launched in 1999.

Michelle earned a BA in economics from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business and an MA in philosophy, politics, and economics from Pembroke College at Oxford University as a Thouron Scholar. She is a member of the Board of Directors at Nike, Inc.

Michelle has been named a Woman of Power and Influence by the National Organization for Women, one of the world’s Most Creative People by Fast Company, one of the World’s Most Influential CMOs by Forbes, and in 2022 was inducted into Forbes’ CMO Hall of Fame.

Karen Hanlon is executive vice president and chief operating officer of Highmark Health, a $26 billion national, blended health organization that includes one of America’s largest Blue Cross Blue Shield insurers and a growing regional hospital and physician network. Based in Pittsburgh, Pa., Highmark Health’s 42,000 employees serve millions of customers nationwide through the nonprofit organization’s affiliated businesses including Highmark Inc., Allegheny Health Network, HM Insurance Group, United Concordia Dental, enGen, and Helion.

Ms. Hanlon is a key leader, strategist and visionary for Highmark Health, helping to guide the organization’s mission to create remarkable health experiences that free people to be their best. She is responsible for overseeing the strategy and long-term operations of Highmark Health and Highmark Inc., as the organization focuses on bringing transformational care to its customers and disrupting traditional health care models, products and services. Ms. Hanlon also oversees the operations of Allegheny Health Network, Highmark Wholecare, the Highmark Health-Penn State Health partnership and enGen.

Ms. Hanlon began her career in public accounting at KPMG Peat Marwick prior to joining Highmark Inc. in 1997, where she held several positions within the finance division before becoming the chief financial officer and treasurer of Highmark Health in 2014, and the chief operating officer of Highmark Health in 2018.

In recognition of her achievements, Hanlon was named to the 2023 Power 100 list of the region’s most influential business leaders and as a 2018 CFO of the Year by The Pittsburgh Business Times. She was also recognized as a 2019 recipient of The Grove City College Alumni Association Jack Kennedy Memorial Alumni Achievement Award, which honors alumni who have made significant contributions in their field.

Ms. Hanlon is a strong advocate of supplier diversity and women in the workforce, serving as an executive sponsor for these important initiatives at Highmark Health. She believes in implementing best practices, innovation and community partnerships that encourage businesses to provide consistent opportunities for minority-owned and operated businesses in the supply chain.

Jigar Shah is senior vice president and chief marketing officer at Blue Shield of California, a nonprofit health plan with $24 billion in annual revenue serving 4.8 million members in the state’s commercial, individual, and government markets. He leads the company’s brand, digital, marketing, member experience, and product departments.

Shah has more than 20 years of experience and a strong record of leadership across a variety of industries. He believes in delivering growth through world-class customer experiences and is known for being an outstanding communicator, an avid learner, and a consumer-centric leader dedicated to transforming health care.

Prior to joining Blue Shield in 2023, Shah was the founder and Chief Executive Officer for Trusana, a mental health care company launched by Providence. He led the vision, roadmap, and all aspects of building the Trusana product and team. Before leading the Trusana team, Shah was senior vice president, chief marketing officer for Providence. In this role, he drove and managed all aspects of the organization’s brand strategy, advertising, and marketing, in addition to leading Providence’s marketing and digital transformation.

Growing up in India, Shah attended The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda to pursue his bachelor’s in physics and South Gujarat University for his MBA. He then moved to the U.S. and attended The University of North Carolina at Greensboro where he obtained his master’s degree in information technology and management. Shah has been an active supporter for over a decade of Child Rights & You, a nonprofit organization that works to ensure healthcare and education rights for all children. When he is not trying to solve healthcare challenges, he enjoys spending time with his wife and 13-year-old son doing outdoor activities such as hiking, playing golf, and tinkering with gadgets.

Jody Tropeano Greene is the Head of Content for HLTH, the premier conference for health innovation. In this role, she leads the development and implementation of the event agenda as well as speaker selection for both the annual HLTH & ViVE events, uniquely placing her at the forefront of digital health trends. The program her team curates provides a platform for top health executives to engage in important dialogue on pressing topics that propel the industry forward. In her time at HLTH, she has had the opportunity to work with thousands of top CEOs, executives and government officials across the health ecosystem including CVS Health, Mayo Clinic, Johnson & Johnson, Kaiser Permanente, Pfizer, FDA, HHS and Amazon. Prior to HLTH, she was leading the content curation for the pharma and biotech sector of IQPC, a global events organization. She is passionate about the health and wellness space and has spearheaded the WELL by HLTH program at the annual HLTH event that focuses on preventative health through consumer wellness solutions. Her mission is to propel the HLTH & ViVE events to the forefront of the industry through impactful programs featuring speakers at the leading-edge of health innovation. Jody currently lives in New York City with her husband and is a graduate of Fordham University in the Bronx.

Bryan O. Buckley, DrPH, MPH, MBA, is a health equity-focused and systems-oriented leader in health delivery system redesign, performance improvement, and change management. Currently, Dr. Buckley is the Director for Health Equity Initiatives at the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), where he supports NCQA’s Health Equity strategy across multiple departments to better integrate health equity concepts into existing programs and projects. Before NCQA, Dr. Buckley was a Research Fellow with Medstar Health’s Institute for Quality and Safety (MIQS), where he led and supported healthcare delivery research, education, and consulting related to community health, patient safety, and quality. Dr. Buckley serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Georgetown University School of Medicine, where he teaches, coaches, supports, and supervises graduate students at the School of Medicine and Biomedical Graduate Education.

Dr. Buckley holds a Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, focused on management, strategy, leadership, and organizational change. In addition to his DrPH, he holds an Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Quantic School of Business and Technology; Bachelor of Science degree (BS) in Microbiology from Michigan State University and a Master of Public Health (MPH) with a concentration in Infectious Diseases and Administration from Michigan State University’s College of Human Medicine. As a member of the American Public Health Association, he serves as an Executive Board Member & Development Committee Chair. Locally he serves as a Board Member of the American Heart Association (AHA) Greater Washington Region and Food & Friends.

Amir Dan Rubin has focused his career on helping transform healthcare. He currently serves as Managing Director of Healthier Capital, a venture capital firm he founded to focus on healthcare innovation. At Healthier Capital, he supports entrepreneurs and early growth-stage companies to leverage innovative technology and business models to improve healthcare.

Amir previously served as CEO of One Medical | Amazon, a leading member-based primary care organization transforming health care with its human-centered and technology-powered model. During Amir’s tenure as CEO, One Medical extended its reach and impact—growing in-person care from 8 to 29 geographies and virtual care across the nation, advancing its innovative technology platform, reaching more consumer members and enterprise clients, extending services for seniors in Medicare risk programs, and partnering with leading health systems across the U.S. He successfully secured financing for One Medical through a $350M private financing, and a subsequent successful $1.7B IPO in 2020, followed by a public convertible note offering, becoming the first primary care delivery organization to IPO. As Chair and CEO of a public company, he also led the all-stock acquisition of Iora Senior Health. Amir successfully led One Medical through its $3.9B acquisition by Amazon in 2023—representing Amazon’s third largest acquisition in its history.

Prior to One Medical | Amazon, Amir served as an EVP and a Divisional CEO at UnitedHealth Group’s Optum arm, where he led a $30B+ portfolio of businesses in care delivery, behavioral health, care management, specialty networks, revenue cycle and other areas focused on making the health system work better. He successfully acquired companies, sold solutions to employers/payers/providers, and delivered outstanding financial results at this Fortune 5 company.

Amir has twice received an EY “Entrepreneur of the Year” award in Northern California, has been recognized on “Modern Healthcare’s Most Powerful” List, and has been recognized as a “Top Business Leader” in San Francisco. He has also served on multiple boards and advisory boards of for-profit and non-profit companies, venture capital and private equity firms, and leading healthcare associations. He holds MBA and MHSA degrees from the University of Michigan, and a BA from the University of California, Berkeley.

Ms. Mathai has worked in the healthcare sector for almost 30 years in a variety of leadership positions over that time, spanning sales and relationship management, business development, strategy, service delivery and P&L ownership. Since her early roles in healthcare and actuarial consulting, Ms. Mathai has worked closely with Fortune 100 companies, guiding them towards the intersection of population health, workforce productivity and business outcomes. Leveraging this valuable experience, Ms. Mathai then moved into leadership roles at Cigna, UnitedHealthcare and Elevance Health (formerly Anthem), where she built sales and growth organizations, led segment strategy and go-to-market efforts, initiated new product development, and oversaw client operations, service, finance, underwriting, clinical programs and various other client support functions.

Most recently, Ms. Mathai led strategy for Elevance Health’s Commercial Business Unit which provides medical, pharmacy and specialty coverage to individual and group customers comprising over 30 million lives. Previously, Ms. Mathai served as Chief Client Officer for their commercial National Accounts group employer segment, a $4B business with several hundred employers and covering ~8 million individuals. In this role, she was responsible for helping employers deliver the most efficient and effective healthcare benefits for their plan members. The teams she led provided both strategic and tactical guidance and were responsible solving all breakdowns in the system to secure the best health and financial outcomes. The challenges and inability to drive true systemic improvements were the impetus for moving on to create an optimization platform with XO Health.

In her work with America’s largest and most progressive employers, Ms. Mathai has also been at the forefront of digital health transformation, informing capability roadmaps and engaging clients in the early design of future healthcare technology solutions. She launched Anthem’s first Client Innovation Collaborative to help employers embrace and influence the shifts in technology and innovation that will impact health and healthcare over the coming years. Ms. Mathai has been immersed in the digital health landscape and has examined countless startups to understand their technology, business models, scope of impact and most importantly, how the industry would need to adapt to bring this broad array of new solutions and services into the mainstream.

The former Vice President of Innovation & Creativity at The Walt Disney Company, Duncan Wardle spent his 25-year career at Disney developing some of their most innovative ideas and strategies. Ideas that would forever change the way the company expands its impact, trains its employees, and solves problems creatively.

What sort of ideas? Instead of asking “How Might We … make more money?” Duncan asked “What If there are no lines in the Disney Parks? No gates at the entrance? No reception desks? No lines for favorite attractions to pay for F&B.”

Fast forward to Disney’s Magic Band, piloted and rolled out across Walt Disney World, eliminating the need to check in at the hotels, waiting to get into a Disney park, lines to ride, etc. Disney’s Magic band has resulted in record revenues and essentially created an open source monitoring of consumer likes and dislikes, informing all future products and services.

With an infectious energy and playful collaboration, Duncan Wardle pushes executives and their teams to overcome preconceived ideas, act more audaciously, and develop their own innovation “light switch”, which is a method to activate their creative brain and access the ideas that turn ordinary companies into industry leaders.

Stephen Love serves in a newly defined role at IU Health as Vice President, Head of Product. In this capacity, he assists the Chief Digital and Information Officer in building a world class product team focused on delivering optimal digital experiences for patients, families, providers, and team members. Core to this transformational effort is aligning digital efforts to value-delivery focused on customer centricity moving from more transactional project delivery.

Stephen has a proven track record over multiple decades designing & implementing innovative product experiences across various industries based in Washington DC, Atlanta, Tampa and now Indianapolis. He has played leadership roles in early-stage start-ups and large enterprises bringing a mix of entrepreneurial spirit, disciplined product management and devotion to customer-centric solutions. Stephen has led the adoption of AGILE and human-centric design processes for Fortune 500 companies, non-profits and large Federal agencies increasing both the efficiency of delivery and engagement of targeted users. He is a value-based leader that builds highly collaborative teams and applies Design Thinking to explore & understand the Why before diving into the How it will be implemented ensuring successful outcomes. He hold a BA from Brown University and is a life-long continuous learner.

Tracy Saula is the Senior Vice President of Product & Health Experience for Highmark Health, a Pittsburgh-based national health and wellness organization and the second-largest integrated health care delivery and financing system in America. In this role, Tracy is responsible for leading the teams that develop health plan insurance products, revolutionize the digital experience, and design solutions aimed at optimizing the health care journey and experience for customers and clinicians. These solutions include offerings designed to manage or improve a person’s physical, mental, and social health with the goal of simplifying the care journey – freeing people to engage in their health by addressing head-on all the things they do not like about the health care system. In addition, they focus on clinician support by addressing the barriers that make it difficult for them to do what they do best – all supported by a new, transformative digital experience.

A passionate health executive with a broad array of experiences and successes at the health plan, provider, and integrated level, Tracy has a proven track record of developing new strategies and leading efforts to bring those strategies to life.

Before joining Highmark in 1998, Tracy worked as a CPA for KPMG. At Highmark Inc. and Highmark Health, Tracy has served in a series of leadership positions throughout Finance, Audit & Compliance, Transformation, and Strategy.

In her most recent role prior to joining the Living Health team, Tracy was the Senior Vice President of Operations at Allegheny Health Network.

Humphrey is Senior Vice President of Digital and Fan Experience for the Seattle Kraken.

Once a professional hockey player in Canada and the U.S., Humphrey joined NHL Seattle from LiquidPlanner, a leading provider of dynamic project management software, where he served as the company’s CEO since 2017.

He has spent much of his career leading and scaling technology businesses globally. In 2014, he co-founded and served as the Chief Commercial Officer of League. He has worked previously in executive roles with technology organizations including Kobo, Inc. (acquired by Rakuten), Amazon.com and CleverSet (acquired by ATG).

Jesse Horowitz is Oscar’s Chief Product Officer where he oversees the Product Management, Design and Product Solutions teams. Jesse is responsible for the development of Oscar’s product strategy and roadmap, focused on building technology and experiences that create differentiated applications and capabilities. Oscar’s product team connects the dots between operations and technology with a strict focus on the human experience to refactor healthcare by creating products that reduce cost, complexity and friction. Jesse has been a member of the Oscar team since 2014, and during his tenure has served in roles for the company across Product, Insurance Operations and Concierge.

Prior to Oscar, Jesse held various Operational and Product positions at EnerNOC, a technology provider of demand side energy management software and energy efficiency solutions for commercial and industrial energy customers.

He holds an undergraduate degree from Tufts University in Psychology.

Michael Palmer is the founding chief executive officer of Exhale Advisors, focused on strategy, M&A, digital transformation and innovation commercialization. Prior to founding Exhale Advisors in 2017, Michael served Aetna as its Chief Innovation and Digital Officer for five years, driving clinical, technology and digital innovations into the healthcare ecosystem serving Aetna’s 37 million members. Prior to Aetna, Mr. Palmer was a Partner/MD at Accenture, where for nearly 20 years he served health clients in information technology strategy, post-merger integration, and global transformation programs.

Michael Dalton is the founder and CEO of Ovatient, a virtual-first and at-home care delivery company born out of a partnership between The Medical University of South Carolina and The MetroHealth System in Cleveland, Ohio. His role at Ovatient is not just his job; it’s a culmination of his life’s work and passion in taking on seemingly impossible challenges that once solved can create systemic change. As CEO, he is focused on fostering a culture of innovation as Ovatient builds its Digital Health Home and Virtual Multispecialty Practice to deliver ovation-worthy, patient-centered care through personalized experiences.

Prior to his role at Ovatient, he served as the Vice President for the Virtual Care Enterprise at MetroHealth where he was responsible for designing, coordinating and implementing the health system’s strategy of virtual and at-home healthcare services. This role was essential to advancing MetroHealth’s care delivery footprint and empowering patients to receive care how, when and where is most convenient for them. He helped launch MetroHealth’s Hospital in The Home, Remote Monitoring, and Virtual Maternity Care programs amidst the COVID pandemic along with numerous other virtual care initiatives at MetroHealth.

Michael also has served as the Vice President for Executive Projects at MetroHealth where he was responsible for passing legislation and leading a statewide coalition of safety-net providers who were able to secure $225 million annually from the CMS to combat the state’s opioid epidemic and address numerous population health challenges and has brought more than $1.3 billion to the state of Ohio.

Prior to joining MetroHealth, Michael served as the System Director of Government Relations for Summa Health System in Akron, Ohio developing and leading the policy priorities for the health system.

His academic background in Political Science and Business Administration, coupled with the attainment of a Master’s in Positive Organizational Development and Change from Case Western Reserve University, were shaped by early career experiences in politically charged environments. These experiences instilled in him a desire to lead with positivity and strength, focusing on sustainable change and impactful leadership.

With over 20 years of experience in healthcare, digital technology, and community leadership, Rita Sharma has a record of driving the integration of traditional healthcare practices and science with advanced digital technology to improve healthcare delivery, patient care, and outcomes. Rita currently serves as the Chief Product Officer at Pager, a leading digital health company that provides a care navigation and wellness experience through AI-enabled technology and concierge clinical services on in partnership with health plans, employers, and hospital systems. At Pager, Rita is responsible for leading the product team and the creation, innovation and execution of product strategies and roadmaps for Pager Health, the leading health and wellbeing platform. Rita also leads the development of go-to-market strategies and solutions in engagement, navigation, virtual care, wellbeing, and value-based care on a global scale.

Rita came to Pager from Salesforce, where she served as GM for Healthcare & Life Sciences. While at Salesforce, Sharma directed the development and global release of the company’s first healthcare product, Health Cloud. Prior to joining Salesforce, Rita served as the Vice President of Marketing & Product Management at Glooko, Inc. in San Francisco, CA. She was also the CEO & Co-Founder of FoundHealth.com and the Director, Global Strategic Marketing, Diabetes Management at LifeScan, a Johnson & Johnson Company. Rita received her Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and went on to earn an MBA in Strategy & Entrepreneurship, with Honors, from the UCLA Anderson School of Management. In addition to her academic achievements, Rita has also completed the Innovative Healthcare Leader Program at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. She was recognized by Becker’s as a top Health IT leader.

As enterprise technology and operations officer for Highmark Health, and CEO of enGen, Michael “Mick” Malec provides strategic oversight and operational leadership focusing on delivery and solutions for enGen’s partners and their members.

Since joining enGen as chief operating officer in November of 2018, Mick has proven himself time and time again to be a strong leader with an unwavering focus on meeting the needs of enGen partners. A strong advocate and influencer of a culture of transparency, accountability, and delivery, Mick brings a fresh perspective to how enGen operates their Enterprise Health Solution (EHS) Platform.

Previously serving as chief administrative officer and senior vice president of NASCO, a Blue Cross and Blue Shield Plan technology solution provider, Mick was responsible for end-to-end infrastructure, information technology, customer support, and multi-platform code delivery. A passionate driver of reducing complexity and creating clear lines of accountability, Mick has over 25 years of experience in information technology between NASCO and IBM.

He is an avid supporter of the Wounded Warriors organization. Mick holds a bachelor’s degree in management and information technology from Davenport University.

As the Chief Analytics Officer at Highmark Health, Richard focuses on delivering innovative data and advanced analytic solutions that fulfill Highmark Health’s mission of creating a remarkable health experience, freeing people to be their best.

Richard initially trained as a Neuroscientist and Biophysicist. Since moving out of academia, his experience includes large-scale data/ analytic transformations, building and scaling advanced analytic products, and building and managing Data Science teams. Richard is passionate about delivering business impact through advanced analytics, growing leaders that connect analytics to the business, and building diverse teams.

Richard arrived at Highmark in 2016 to assume the role of Vice President, Advanced Analytics and Reporting. Prior to that time, he was at McKinsey & Company for 9 years. While at Highmark, Richard has led several Analytics teams as well as Product, Clinical Services, and Human Centered Design. In 2020, he moved into the Chief Analytics Officer role, overseeing all Data and Analytics for Highmark Health.
Richard holds a B.S. in Neuroscience from Allegheny College and a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the Center for the Neural Basis of Cognition (CNBC), a joint program between CMU and the University of Pittsburgh. During his doctoral work he studied under Dr. Jon Johnson and published 4 peer-reviewed articles that utilized a mixture of wet-lab research and kinetic modeling to investigate the functioning of NMDA receptors.

On a personal note, Richard and his wife, Shauna, have been married for 16 years and live in the Pittsburgh area.  They have 2 children and 1 very loved dog.  When not at work, Richard enjoys golfing, fishing and reading fantasy novels.

Matt is a principal in Deloitte’s Health Care Strategy & Innovation practice, leads Deloitte’s Digital Transformation offering in Health Care, and is the Hybrid Market Offering Leader for ConvergeHealth Connect™ for Health Care products. Matt focuses on customer and digital strategy across the health care ecosystem. He has 20 years of experience developing customer experience, analytics, and digital strategies, and designing the products, capabilities, and technologies required to execute them. In January 2013, Deloitte acquired Monitor Group, where Matt was an Associate Partner. Prior to joining Monitor Group, Matt spent five years at GE Capital, where he held various finance and pricing roles in the US and Asia.

Walter Jin is the Chairman and CEO of Pager, a leading digital health and virtual care company that provides convenient navigation, quick access and seamless coordination to the right care, in the right place, at the right time, with a trusted, personalized “doctor-in-the-family” experience. Pager’s tech-enabled services solution stitches together the fragmentation and friction in healthcare by providing omni-channel engagement and a connected care experience, serving over 25 million people across the United States, Puerto Rico and Latin America.

Prior to Pager, Mr. Jin was Co-Founder of Pacific Healthcare Management and The Innovation Institute, which provided business process outsourcing solutions for health systems including clinical laboratories, biomedical clinical engineering, revenue cycle management, real estate construction management and IP technology transfer.

Previously, Mr. Jin spent 25 years in private equity and venture capital, investing over $3 billion into more than 50 companies across most subsectors of healthcare. Mr. Jin was the Co-Founder and General Partner of Three Fields Capital, a family office investing in healthcare venture capital, which managed $1.3 billion in AUM. Mr. Jin was also the Co-Head of Healthcare at The Carlyle Group, a multinational private equity, alternative asset management and financial services corporation, which grew from $100 million to over $100 billion AUM during his 15-year tenure. Mr. Jin also previously worked as a hedge fund portfolio manager at SAC Capital and an M&A investment banker at Salomon Brothers.

Mr. Jin is a graduate of Harvard University with a bachelor’s degree in Economics, magna cum laude, with a minor in Applied Mathematics. Mr. Jin has served as a board member, executive in residence, and/or advisor to Johns Hopkins Medicine, Mayo Clinic Ventures, Cleveland Clinic Innovations, Brown Medicine, the Health Evolution Summit, and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

Mike Serbinis is the co-founder and CEO of League. Previously, he was founder and CEO of digital reading company Kobo, the only global competitor to Amazon’s Kindle. His transformative career as an entrepreneur, engineer, pioneering technologist and investor includes founding and growing DocSpace—a messaging service that ran one-third of the world’s email. Today, Mike is a member of the Board of the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics, the Board of the Creative Destruction Lab, the Board of Trustees at the Ontario Science Centre, and YPO.

At Google, Amy is an executive on the Global healthcare and life sciences solution strategy team, serving as the global solutions leader of their rapidly growing health plans business. She leads the vision, strategy, and execution of the industry product strategy. Amy drives business transformation innovation with emerging products leveraging Google’s industry leading interoperability, analytics and AI/ML capabilities. Amy works with leadership of global strategic clients, resources across Alphabet and partners in the cloud eco-system to create solutions improving end user experiences and value, operational efficiencies and positive social outcomes.

Amy serves as a featured speaker throughout the industry at organizations such as HIMSS, AHIP, Matter, HealthImpact. Recent speaking topics include delivering on the patient experience, leveraging technology to bridge healthcare inequities, women in tech, and meeting compliance and security requirements through use of cloud technology.

Prior to joining Google, Amy spent 20 years working with PwC in New York, Chicago and San Francisco, leading market growth strategies for emerging markets, new service lines and brands as well as leading in market “turn-around” situations. Afterwards, Amy became a partner at The Chartis Group, a healthcare advisory firm where she was focused on organic and inorganic strategic growth initiatives. Amy and her teams have been recipients of several awards including: 5 AVA gold awards for digital innovations, The Financial Communications Society’s “Differentiating a 21st Century Professional Services Firm” award and the Brandon Hall “Excellence in Learning” award. Amy has also been the recipient of the President’s Council on Service, the National Service to Youth Awards as well as several Innovation awards.

Amy has an undergrad degree from the University of Pittsburgh and an MBA in technology and strategy from Loyola University of Chicago. She has served on the ULC and San Francisco Boys and Girls Club Boards, is on the National Make-a-Wish Board, the American Health Association Chicago Heart Ball Board and serves on the Advisory Board to the Dean at Loyola University of Chicago.

Don Gray joined Highmark Health as Chief Data Officer in February, where he leads enterprise data efforts that will culminate in transformative capabilities driving our Living Health strategy. Don’s talented team has stood up a Google Cloud Enterprise Data Platform fueling world-class Data Science and Analytics teams, as well as instantiating accelerated data ingestion, compute, and interoperability enabling rapidly growing partner ecosystem on behalf of our healthcare consumers and providers.

Most recently Don served as Mercy St. Louis Chief Data & Analytics Officer, where he led enterprise data and analytics efforts, resulting in a portfolio of product builds including an intelligent data platform ecosystem, process intelligence platform, an integrated population health analytics platform, and forward-looking prescriptive business intelligence tools.

Prior to joining Mercy, Mr. Gray served S&P Global Ratings as Chief Data & Advanced Analytics Officer. He also led Cigna as Global Head of Enterprise Data Management. Don has also led various enterprise transformation efforts at Citi, Bank of America, and NEC.

Mara is COO and co-founder of Signal 1, a health AI company that enables hospitals to deploy and scale clinical AI applications across their enterprise. Prior to launching Signal 1, Mara spent 19 years as a Professor of Strategic Management at the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management. During her time at the University of Toronto, Mara led and grew the Creative Destruction Lab (CDL) – a world-leading mentorship program for massively scalable science- and technology-based start-ups. Mara has a PhD in Economics from MIT.

Javier is a technology executive, investor and entrepreneur. As Technical Director at the CTO Office Javier drives long term technical strategy for Google Cloud. During 15 years at Google, Javier has led technical work and managed teams in Search, Ads, Supply Chain and Cloud. Recently he has been focusing on healthcare, pharma and biotech, and helping organizations use Cloud infrastructure, Machine Learning and generative AI to improve drug discovery and patient care.

Suk Park is a seasoned entrepreneur with a career spanning two decades. Alongside his wife and partner, Boram Nam, he is the co-founder of Boram Care, a company dedicated to reshaping the postpartum experience in the US. In 2022, they launched the first postnatal retreat in America, igniting a transformative approach to holistic and accessible postpartum care with plans to expand across the nation.

Suk and Boram’s personal experience with postpartum recovery inspired them to explore innovative ways to bring about positive change – and embarked on this journey recognizing the larger pressing issues of maternal mortality and postpartum mental health. The US holds the unfortunate distinction of ranking first in maternal mortality among OECD countries. Furthermore, one in five new mothers meets the criteria for major depressive disorders, yet only 15% receive any form of treatment. At the core of Boram Care’s mission is to implement evidence-based best practices from abroad to create a reliable infrastructure for postpartum care in the United States.

Suk’s career is defined by his capacity to drive innovation across a spectrum of industries. Early in his career he founded one of the first subscription video streaming services in the US. DramaFever paved the way for the global expansion of Korean content and was acquired by Softbank in 2014. He subsequently launched Warner Bros’ first Korean Production and Acquisition division, effectively bridging the worlds of Hollywood and Korean entertainment.

Suk graduated from Columbia Business School and lives with Boram and their two children in Manhattan.

Josh Goode is Chief Information Officer at SCAN. He provides leadership, strategy and support to the company’s Information Technology (IT) department and leads the Consumer Experience team.

At SCAN, Josh has led a digital transformation effort that has modernized SCAN’s technology ecosystem, leveraging its technology investments to meet the individual needs of seniors now and in the future.

Prior to joining SCAN in 2013, Josh worked for Accenture, a multinational technology and management consulting firm. During his 15 years there, he worked with several health plans throughout the United States, including UnitedHealth Group, CIGNA, Express Scripts and PacifiCare.

Josh holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Tennessee. He serves on multiple advisory boards, including those of California State University, Long Beach, the Healthcare Administration Board, Medocity, and HMG Strategy.

Kathleen is an award-winning, high energy, engagement expert with over twenty-five years of experience. She speaks regularly on the national stage on many topics including: driving consumer health engagement, creating better consumer experience in healthcare, motivating and inspiring consumers, and using data to drive consumer behavior. As Managing Partner of Engagys, Kathleen brings the best of consumer marketing and data-driven methodologies to healthcare to motivate better health decisions. Engagys is a healthcare consultancy lasered focused on consumer engagement and experience.

She has been recently named as a consultant to the first ever FDA Patient Engagement Advisory Committee (PEAC).

Doug Bryce is Vice President of Group Benefits Product & Platforms at Manulife. In this role, Doug leads the team responsible for Manulife’s extended health care, dental, disability and absence management, pharmacy, and administrative solution products. He is also responsible for the healthcare strategy, digital health, healthcare data & intervention and customer experience teams, focusing on continued innovation and improvements to our member, sponsor and advisor facing experiences.

Doug joined Manulife in November 2022 as the Head of Digital Health and Transformation, a role in which he was responsible for leading Manulife Group Benefits through our ongoing digital transformation and overseeing the Health and Wellness and Digital Experience teams.  

Prior to joining Manulife, Doug spent 6 years at Shoppers Drug Mart, where he played a key role in transforming the organization into a consumer health and wellness leader through growth in pharmacy healthcare service offerings such as covid testing, vaccinations and point of care testing, as well as the launch of PC Health, the Health Clinic and Beauty Clinic, and the acquisition of the Lifemark Health Group in May of 2022.

Doug has also worked as a healthcare management consultant, an investment banker and a corporate, securities and M&A lawyer.

Perry Payne, Jr., MD/JD/MPP is a health equity clinical specialist at Google where he focuses on innovative strategies to address health equity challenges with Google products and limiting any health equity related harm that can arise from products. Prior to this position, he worked at IBM Watson Health, the US Department of Health and Human Services Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation (ASPE) in the Office of Science and Data Policy, the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation – a component of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), and George Washington University School of Public Health and School of Medicine where he continues to serve as an adjunct professor. He teaches various courses including: 1) Prescription Drugs, Policy and Public Health; 2) Public Health Law; 3) Law, Medicine and Ethics; and 4) Fundamentals of Health Policy. He is a graduate of Stanford University (Biological Sciences), Duke School of Medicine, Duke School of Public Policy, and George Washington Law School.
